Practitioner Zhaoqi Guo

Zhaoqi Guo, R. TCMP, R. Ac, has more than 50 years of experience and is a member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada. He has presented at least 15 papers in world acupuncture conferences and his articles were recognized by his peers. He has received more than 30 prestigious awards – the leading one being from the Government of China.

Yearly, he attends symposia of fellow practitioners in Asia, Europe and North America – in New York, Hanoi, Beijing, Seoul, Barcelona, San Francisco and Strasbourg – to share and learn.

In New York, in 1996, he was awarded the Certificate of Excellence by 5,000 of his peers for his breakthrough paper on the treatment of mononucleosis. His work in the field of Crohn’s disease is attracting worldwide attention.

Zhaoqi Guo has two medical degrees earned in China and advanced training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. His international reputation was such that he was invited, from China, to be a Visiting Fellow at the University of Ottawa’s Medical School.

Zhoaqi Guo was featured, in 2009, on a national stamp issued by China Post, for making important breakthroughs in Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
